First stop, surprise, surprise was the aircraft museum! We took Grumpy and Uncle Aaron along to help wipe the drool off Nathan's chin!
Matthew's favourite was the chopper.

Here the boys are watching the movie about the B52 bomber. They are sitting inside the bomb hold!
They didn't get a picture of me and my favourite it was a tiny little propeller called a fan!
This is the B52 donated by the yanks. It was huge! The wings have their own landing gear because they move so much!
There are millions more photos of planes and things associated with planes but i don't know what they are! If you are interested Nathan could bore you I mean tell you about the various kinds! This was one of the highlights of his trip! Along with Aaron and Dad!
This is the sunset at Mindil Beach. we went to a market and ate a stack of Asian dished for dinner. People bring the deckchairs and champers and watch the sun set. Nathan would have loved to have done this with just me but we have three rambunctious boys so it just wasn't possible this time but it is so on the list for next!
And somehow I failed to learn this at my Australian school! I think that is terrible and I feel a little better to know that my boys are aware of how many Australian lost their loves in the bombings.
My Nathan that a big gun you've got there!
Matthew requested this photo. It a bomby thing. I would know what it was if they would let me read all the signs but it apparently takes too long!
We then moved onto the Darwin Museum where we checked out the Cyclone Tracey exhibit. I've never experienced a cyclone before, so it was really interesting! They have a room in which they have recorded the noise of the cyclone. It is also pitch black in there to help with the whole ambiance of a vicious cyclone!
This is sweetheart. She is the largest known crocodile!
