with no disasters! But Matthew nearly gave Poppy a heart attack for his birthday when he fell on the treadmill! Nathan and I rushed him to Emergency where he had his burns washed and dressed. Something I would like to never have to do again in this lifetime! Matthew was so brave.......and very loud! But he did walk out of there with a small fortune worth of silver stuff covering his burns. Apparently silver is great for burns. (Me personally would prefer gold!)
Since then we have had daily dressing changes and he is healing well. We had a fun time of it, irrigating his dressings on our final leg from Brisbane to Canberra. Sorry to all of the people at Maccas in Newcastle, we had no where else to do it!
It just goes to show that every trip needs some drama and our trip had just been far to easy!
