Lego

Many, many years ago a young man called Nathan decided to choose engineering to study at university based on the fact that he loved building lego. Years later that young man was blessed with three young sons. From the time the first son was three months old he began instilling in him the importance of lego. Even more years later he is well on the way to developing three more budding engineers!
If you have ever been to my house you would have more than once stood on a stray piece of lego or been exposed to some construction that is supposed to be a plane or car or truck! The Rickard lego collection must currently stand at 1 million pieces and it apparently going to continue to grow if the chief engineer has anything to do with it!

This is what a standard weekend morning looks like in our house....

The Project Manager has made a space cruiser.......

The task leader has made a space crawler.............

The graduate engineer produced a jet plane.......

The trainee is currently working on a satellite (how many 3 years old know what a satellite is???)
The CEO of the company will know that the project was a success when every last piece of lego has been cleaned from her floor and the rug vacuumed clean!
