There is an wives tale that you use cabbage leaves to help with the pain of your milk coming in. It has since been modernised to a frozen nappy, as that is much more hygienic. Anyway when I started to get some pain in my breasts and was sick of the brussell sprout leaf jokes (Before Matthew was born I had no boobs, hardly even a ripple, hence the brussell sprout jokes!) I asked Nathan to put a nappy in the freezer. Hours later I asked him to get the nappy as it should be frozen by now. This is what I got........

An oldie but a goodie!
If I had have been blogging when Matthew was born this story SO would have made it on there! And now that I am here it is!

The poor boy didn't realise it had to be a disposable nappy. And as we mainly used cloth nappies he froze a cloth one! But as you can see from how carefully it was folded he truly was trying to be thoughtful. But the truth is he is just not very smart! That nappy had frozen solid into the hardest block. There was no folding around the contours of my newly formed breasts! However there were two benefit to using this unorthodox method. 1. I could kind of do two boobs at once (although a hard nappy against tender boobs was not nice) and 2. It turned out the be the softest, fluffiest nappy Matthew had!
